Working at DAA Northwest
Each year, millions of vehicles are traded through the nation's nearly 400 wholesale auto auctions. Large corporate chains own the majority of the auctions. As a locally owned independent business, DAA Northwest is an exception.
We take pride in our independent, family-owned business. Our local ownership and unique management style provides many benefits to our employees, our customers and the community we serve.
Our approach to serving customers stems from a commitment to build long-term relationships while providing a superior level of service. We are dedicated to building and maintaining the trust and continued loyalty of our customers. Over the years, our solid tradition of treating customers with the highest levels of respect and consideration has served us well and will continue to differentiate DAA in the auction industry - making us more competitive and adding value to our employees and customers.

Employee Benefits

Medical/Dental/Life Insurance
Our comprehensive package includes medical, dental and life insurance with the employee's premium paid by DAA. Regular full time employees (working 30 hours a week or more) are eligible to participate.
Employee Recognition
DAA considers recognition important to the success of the company and individual employee. We hold a quarterly breakfast meeting that includes department and individual recognition on a larger scale. Employee meals, BBQ's and invitations to participate in larger customer promotions such as DAA's annual Rock & Roll concert, allow us the opportunity to say; "Thanks for your hard work!"
401(k) Retirement Plan
All employees age 18 years and older are eligible to participate after one year (1000 hours) of employment. Employees are allowed to contribute from 1 to 40% gross salary. DAA will match dollar for dollar up to 4%.
Employee Assistance Program
Employees and their families have 24-hour access to the professional assistance they need, whether it is for work or home. This includes legal counsel, psychiatric, and eldercare referral.
Daycare and Medical Reimbursement Accounts
DAA's dependent care and medical reimbursement accounts are used to reduce taxable wages while paying for daycare, elder care or to pay for qualifying medical expenses not covered by health insurance.
Flu Shots
DAA provides flu shots to employees each year in the fall. The shots are provided on-site and are paid for by the company.
